Omg. First time and it was well worth it! Food, service atmosphere excellent. Had the seafood omelette bursting with crab meat and shrimps, it did not disappoint. Hubby had chicken cheesesteak he was well pleased. Got fish platters for take home. Pack patients as chef do they thing in that overly clean kitchen
Stopped for lunch after seeing Bartram's Garden. Friendly service, but not fast which tells me they take care and put love into every dish. The beef short ribs and grits were spectacular. Fantastic flavors, meat was cooked perfectly, and southern grits done right. Delicious meal, plus the fruit lemonades are a must!
This is restaurant is truly a gem. I'm so glad I have it a try. The service was prompt and professional. The food was seasoned to perfection & well made. I opted for 2 eggs scrambled, home fries, bacon, rye toast & cranberry juice. The price point of the menu was fair. They have a jazz band every other Sunday with no cover charge. The restaurant was clean and in good repair. As well as the restrooms. This is definitely a staple in the community. And a delightful place to please your palate.
The food was delicious. Seasoned well, my only issue is that I felt the seafood omelette should have been more fuller and longer. Other than that, everything was perfect. I didn't take any stars away because of it. Customer Service was also great and pleasant. And the food is reasonably priced!
Ethos place is a whole vibe! The employees are extremely polite. With a live jazz band playing to set the mood. I ordered cheese eggs, home fries and cheese grits. Food was really good. Definitely recommend. To add city workers get 10% off I’m a city worker so that’s amazing. I was so impressed I tipped them back my 10%. I also tipped the band I love Jazz music and they were grooving.
Service, food and atmosphere were great! The pancakes had crispy edges just like I like them. The breakfast sandwich was good as well.
I was in Philly today picking up my daughter from Temple. I wanted to get some soul food early in the morning to take home with me. The customer service and the food was amazing. I got the best shrimp and grits I have ever had they were eaten in the car and didn’t even make it home. I also purchased the fish dinner which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be going back!
This was my first time visiting Amari’s by way of a friend’s recommendation and all I can say is ummm mmm mmmm. The food was amazing! Both my mother and I ate everything on our plate and didn’t leave a single crumb! Everything was A1 and their Hibiscus tea was amazingly delicious and refreshing. They’ve gained a forever customer. Please give this business a try, you will not be disappointed. Please don’t walk there...run there. I will most definitely be back
